Our white heavyweight waterproof labels are made with matt white polyolefin and a marine standard adhesive. Supplied on A4 sheets, they can be printed with inkjet and laser printers (although only laser print is waterproof).
These labels offer a compromise between our thick waterproof labels (MWPE: polyethylene) and our white waterproof labels (MWP: polyester). They are thicker than polyester but thinner than polyethylene, more flexible than polyester and less flexible than polyethylene. This makes these labels well suited to a range of applications, both indoor and outdoor. The marine standard adhesive has been tested for three months in salt water and bonds strongly with a range of materials and surface types. Polyolefin is waterproof, tough, and flexible, which makes it well suited to long life applications.
Our white heavyweight waterproof labels are commonly used to create long life tracking labels and product labels. They are the perfect way to label items that are to be shipped long distance or even stored for long periods of time. They can be printed with identifying information, shipping and handling instructions, or tracking information - either in plain text or in the form of barcodes and QR codes. Waterproof product labels are popular for items that will be used or stored in outdoor or indoor conditions where they may get wet. This includes gardening products, cosmetics, and kitchen and bathroom products.
They are also particularly popular for use at events or outdoor facilities, where they can be used to make signs, notices, directions, or warnings.
