Lafert offers a wide range of unique stand-alone Permanent Magnet Motors nominated HPS (High Performance Stand-alone). The HPS range combines the mature and well proven technology of both AC Brushless Servomotors and AC Induction Motors resulting in a cost optimised and reliable motor range in accordance with IE4 - Super Premium Efficiency. The HPS range is specifically designed to target energy saving and renewable energy applications. The merger between Brushless Servomotors and AC Motors offers a very cost efficient and compact design when compared to the equivalent AC Induction Motor. The HPS range is based on different rare earth magnet materials to avoid to be locked into one specific type of rare earth material. Lafert also have substantial skills to develop and supply IPM Motors based on Ferrite magnets for specific volume applications: by far the best technology available when the choice is driven by cost, and still resulting in a compact and highly efficient solution.
