We’re excited to announce the release of version 2.30 of the CLICK programming software – this can be downloaded from our website here. The big news items here is that High-Speed inputs are now available on the CLICK Ethernet CPUs – a list of the available configurations by CPU type is at the bottom of this article. There are a couple of minor points to note for those migrating from Version 2.20 of the CLICK Software, the main one is that the Input setup that was previously configured in the CPU Built-in I/O Setup as below… …is now done from the “High Speed Input Configuration” setup. For CPU models that do not support High-Speed Inputs, the 4 Modes will be greyed out. Example configuration of a HS counter using input X1 incrementing Register DD1 CPUs supporting High Speed Inputs: Ethernet Basic CLICK (Part numbers C0-10DXXXE-D) up to (4) up or down counters up to (2) up/down or pulse/direction counters up to (2) quadrature counters up to (1) quadrature counter with reset up to (4) time measurements up to (4) frequency measurements Ethernet Standard CLICK (Part Numbers C0-11DXXXE-D) up to (6) up or down counters up to (3) up/down or pulse/direction counters up to (3) quadrature counters up to (2) quadrature counters with reset up to (6) time measurements up to (6) frequency measurements Ethernet Analog CLICK – Part Numbers (C0-12DXXXE-D) up to (4) up or down counters up to (2) up/down or pulse/direction counters up to (2) quadrature counters up to (1) quadrature counter with reset up to (4) time measurements up to (4) frequency measurements
