Continued Growth at Lindapter Leads to an Expansion

Lindapter, the pioneer in the design and manufacture of steelwork fixings, has increased its capacity at its UK headquarters following extensive sales and profit growth over recent years. Lindapter is delighted to announce that its warehouse extension is now complete and fully operational. The floorspace has been expanded by over 40% to provide a larger area for goods inwards processing, stock-holding and despatch. The improved layout, complemented by initiatives to reduce manual handling, focused on increasing site safety and productivity. “More space in our new warehouse has so many advantages,” explains Sean Picken, Lindapter’s Warehouse Manager. “All of which will help Lindapter to ship our fixings more efficiently and accommodate future growth.” In addition to extending the building and installing a new racking system, Lindapter has revamped its processing area to include new material handling equipment and ergonomic workstations to maximise both safety and efficiency. The substantial investment in facilities has been supported by recruiting additional personnel to ensure consistently high levels of customer service.
