Hollo-Bolt was specified for securing balcony extensions in Dresden. Hollo-Bolt by Lindapter was specified due to its high strength capacity and its range of independent product approvals such as the CE Mark. The apartment building refurbishment consisted of balcony extensions to enlarge living rooms areas and new windows and doors to take further advantage of the natural daylight. The contractor used over 600 Hollo-Bolts to secure pre-drilled hollow steel sections to create the structural framework for the balcony extensions. The Hollo-Bolt enabled a quick installation on-site using just standard hand tools, which saved time and labour costs, while minimising distruption to the residential area.
