A luxury car manufacturer has extended its manufacturing plant to increase its production capability to meet the growing demand in India. The contractor, GR Engineering Projects Pvt. Ltd, used Lindapter fixings to speed up the car plant construction. The engineers purchased over 1600 M12 Type AF clamps from their local authorised Lindapter distributor to connect secondary beams together to create a framework for the production line. The Girder Clamp’s lateral adjustability allowed the contractor to quickly slide and align the steel sections into position before tightening the clamps with standard hand tools to secure the arrangement. Using the Lindapter clamping method eliminated the requirement for drilling and welding and the need for area closures while ensuring that the paintwork remained intact. The simple installation process saved the contractor time and labour costs, while providing a fast way to reconfigure the production line to suit future manufacturing requirements.
