Sprinkler pipe repair in Peterborough – Lubet were asked to respond to an urgent underground leak at our client’s factory. The leak on the sprinkler main was affecting the factory’s fire sprinkler system, it was critical for any repairs to be carried out quickly with minimal sprinkler downtime. Lubet coordinated the excavation with the client’s groundwork contractor. Lubet supplied the shoring system, plant, equipment, materials and personnel required for the repair to take place. The repair involved removing a section of corroded pipe, installing new pre-made ductile spool pieces and an additional isolation valve. The works spanned 5 days, from excavation to the sprinkler main being repaired ready for backfill.
