Handling Tablets in IBCs

Compared with boxes, kegs or drums, handling tablets in larger batches system significantly reduces the number of container movements and lowers labour requirements, whilst improving the OEE rates of processing equipment. The Matcon Tablet IBCs are designed for gentle handling of coated/non-coated tablets and capsules. An integrated spiral chute ensures tablets gently slide into the IBC, minimising the drop height, acceleration and impact thereby reducing any risk of damage. Can handle batch sizes up to 650kg. Discharge process is done in conjunction with a Matcon IBC Tablet Discharge Station that has a gentle opening mechanism and a specially designed outlet to prevent any crushing of tablets and/or capsules.
