Tablet Coating using IBCs

Tablet coating is a process step where the benefits of full batch tablet handling in IBCs are significant. When compared with traditional drum or ‘box’ handling, considerable time savings are achieved both during the loading and unloading of the coating system. By elevating the IBC on a Pillar Lift, or feeding from the floor above, the full coating batch can be automatically loaded into a batch coater in minutes. With the IBC sized to match coating batches, there is no need to track multiple drums around the system, thereby reducing the risk of error.
