Empowering Women in Engineering at Niftylift

Niftylift hosts their ‘Women in Engineering 2023’ event to inspire a new generation of female engineers

In an all-female initiative, Niftylift revived their inspiring 'Women in Engineering' event on the 15th-16th November, aiming to encourage young women to pursue studies and careers in engineering.

With the goal of dismantling traditional engineering stereotypes, Niftylift extended invitations to female students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) subjects from the local community. The event took place at their World Headquarters in Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes, offering a peek into the realm of engineering.

From a comprehensive tour of the factory to engaging in production assembly tasks, students had the opportunity to explore various disciplines contributing to the construction of a single Niftylift. This event served as an excellent platform for young women to gain insights into potential career opportunities within the design, engineering, and manufacturing industries.
