LTP-250 NanoPress
07-08-2012
The LTP-250 NanoPress™ is an inexpensive miniature press for general use in applying heat
and light pressure to materials. The LTP-250 NanoPress™ includes a separate
temperature controller for heating the platens and implementing isothermal or ramp-and
hold modes. The heating temperature range is ambient to 250°C (480 °F), and the
maximum applied force is 22.7 Kg (50 pounds). Force is applied with weights placed on
top of the LTP-250. Platen area is 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm (3.0" x 3.0").
The LTP-250 NanoPress™ is also useful for the curing of SMC, BMC, epoxies,
polyesters, polystyrenes, polyurethanes, silicones, laminates and other polymeric
materials. Providing an ultra-portable, easily operated platform to reproduce the time-
temperature-pressure processing profiles of most polymers.
The LTP-250 NanoPress can be controlled manually or with the Lambient Technologies" CureView™ software.
When used with any of the Lambient Technologies dielectric sensors, the LTP-250
NanoPress™ becomes a complete testing station for dielectric cure studies.
Details on these and other Lambient Technologies thermoset cure monitoring systems are available from the UK representatives Nortest, visit www.nortest.co.uk.
