New Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Controller Launched With Inbuilt Occupancy Sensor

A new wall mounted controller has been launched by Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning which has an inbuilt sensor to detect when the room is unoccupied, the controller then automatically switches of the air conditioning. This function optimises the efficiency of the system by stopping the air conditioning system running when not necessary.
Named the PAR-U02MEDA, the wall mounted controller can be retrofitted onto existing systems. Other notable inbuilt functions include an advanced, backlit, touchscreen controller with a 7-day time clock, password protection and night setback function. The colour LED display shows the mode and status of the air conditioning system and the room. As with other Mitsubishi Electric controllers, the PAR-U02MEDA can control up to 16 indoor units and has advanced functions such as weekly scheduling.
