The original Ilkeston Outlaws girl's team was formed nearly ten years ago as the Erewash representatives for the Derbyshire Millennium Youth Games. The girls played successfully together in the local Nottingham Maid Marion League until entry to universities forced them to disband a few years ago. After a successful campaign to encourage local women into basketball, old and new players reformed last summer and decided to challenge themselves by entering the England Basketball National League Division 2 this season.'
