OKW is pleased to announce the availability of their smart new MINI-DATA-BOX plastic enclosures in custom versions. These versatile enclosures are designed to accommodate miniaturized electronics and are ideal for a wide range of applications, including IoT/IIoT, automation, security/surveillance, environmental monitoring, measurement and control, smart logistics, peripherals, interfaces, and ICT.
Now, OKW offers fully customized MINI-DATA-BOX enclosures, providing a simplified supply chain for customers. The enclosures are delivered ready for immediate installation of electronic components. OKW's comprehensive customization services include machining, lacquering, printing, laser marking, EMC shielding, and assembly of accessories.
With the use of digital printing technology, OKW can add legends, logos, and photo-quality graphics to the enclosures, allowing for enhanced branding and visual appeal. Laser marking is ideal for consecutive numbering and the addition of very small, machine-readable QR codes, barcodes, and DataMatrix codes.
The MINI-DATA-BOX enclosures are available in square and rectangular shapes, with or without flanges for screws and cable ties. This flexibility enables quick and easy mounting to walls, ceilings, and rails. The bevelled lid corners not only reduce weight but also lend the enclosures a sleek and stylish "diamond cut" appearance.
The lid and base feature a tongue-and-groove joint for added strength and are assembled using tamperproof stainless steel Torx screws. Inside the enclosures, there are fixing supports for PCBs and components, both in the top and bottom sections.
The MINI-DATA-BOX is available in four plan sizes (40 x 40 mm, 50 x 50 mm, 60 x 40 mm, 70 x 50 mm) and two heights (15 and 20 mm). Optional IP 65 sealing is available. The enclosures are molded from UV-stable and flame-resistant ASA+PC-FR material (UL 94 V-0). Standard color options include traffic white (RAL 9016) and anthracite grey (RAL 7016), with custom colors available upon request. Accessories such as IP 65 seals are also available.
