With the growing emphasis of functional safety and risk reduction in today's environment, the alarm annunciator is still very much considered the most important tool in achieving safety objectives. Omniflex, formerly known as Conlog are aware that there are still many sites worldwide relying on legacy alarm annunciators, including the Conlog Omni16A and B Alarm Annunciators that were installed in the 70's and 80's. As these alarm annunciators begin to exceed their life expectancy, Omniflex would like to advise all users that there is a direct replacement/upgrade path available for the Conlog Omni16A and Omni16B alarm annunciators. The replacement alarm annunciator is the Omni16C and has the exact save physical dimensions as the Conlog Omni16A/B in terms of height and width. The front display is also still available as a sidebar LED or Backlit LED model to match existing installations. To help users carry out the upgrade/replacement of a Conlog Omni16a or Omni16b Alarm Annunciator with an Omni16c Alarm Annunciator an instruction guide has been published, which can be downloaded from the website (see website link).
