This door set is one of PBSC’s original designs, specifically developed for the cleanroom environment. It has a reputation for precision, durability, and long-lasting quality, proven over time.

 

Purpose-built with minimal visible fixings, true flush glazing to both sides of the door leaf, and no rebates or fixings to eliminate possible contamination.

 

The PBSC concealed closer system is included in this traditional steel door, consisting of a single solid stainless-steel closer arm and closer that are sealed into the door frame, eliminating any ledges that may be created.

PBSC offers high-containment APR inflatable seal door sets that are ideal for situations involving high traffic and wheeled equipment, providing the highest level of airtight containment. These doors feature a flush doorframe design that eliminates any potential trip hazards or trolley interference.

 

The seal around the perimeter of the door is inflated by compressed air against a radiused doorframe, this design provides excellent leakage resistance up to pressure differences of 2000Pa (8” w.g.).

 

The Inflatable Seal Door Set from PBSC is made from different materials such as polished stainless steel, powder-coated low-carbon steel, aluminum, or solid core phenolic resin.

PBSC’s high containment APR Mechanical Seal doors use a strong yet flexible seal that is compressed against the doorframe to create a reliable airtight barrier. This seal is manually compressed without the need for compressed air, ensuring a fail-safe seal in case of a power outage.

 

Our mechanical seal door sets can be used for all containment applications. You can choose between stainless-steel or machined HPL door leaves, both of which have been tested to 2500PA (10” W.G.). If needed, the door set can be connected to an access control system.

 

An easy-use stainless steel arm is used to compress the combed edge of the frame against the seal. The mechanical mechanism is installed in the door frame, which not only reduces the weight of the door but also improves maintenance.

 

Operation of the door is a simple one-handed maneuver available on either side of the door.

 

With the raised threshold these doors create a natural bund, assisting containment of liquid during washdown…
