Permatred Densified Wood Laminate for Defence Applications
Permatred is made from beech veneers impregnated with phenolic resin, and consolidated under high pressure and temperature to form homogeneous flooring sheets of high mechanical strength. Special press plates are used during the pressing process to give Permatred its characteristic 'chequer plate' finish.
