It is the only battery tool on the market to be tested and approved by Howmet for installation of Huck® Lockbolts and Structural Blind Fasteners
Will Install:
- Structural Blind Fasteners: All 4.8mm (3/16”) and 6.4mm (1/4”) – excluding 6.4mm BOM
- Standard Lockbolts: All 4.8mm (3/16”) and 6.4mm (1/4”)
- BobTail: 6.4mm (1/4”)
- Hucktainer: 9.5mm (3/8”)
Durable: Tested by Makita and Howmet to minimum 50K installation with no issues
Installations per battery charge:
- Structural Blind Fasteners 6.4mm: Approx. 1.5k to 2K
- Lockbolts 6.4mm: Approx. 500 to 1k
- Recharge time: 45 minutes, kit comes with 2 batteries
The Pull Force Control Feature: the pull force only needs to be adjusted when installing 6.4mm BobTail – to do this all information is shown in the instruction booklet. For all other fasteners the default setting off “900” is fine and the tool can be used straight out of the box
