Pressure Forming Update

We’re seeing an ever increasing amount of new work for pressure forming. A lot of companies are using pressure forming for covers in low volume quantities instead of using injection moulding. The reason being…….Injection mould tooling costs are approximately 75% more expensive than the tooling for pressure forming. Pressure forming also still gives the outer quality finish and great detail the same as injection moulding does. In conclusion, pressure forming is more cost effective and in a lot of cases it looks just as good as an injection moulded finished product!
