Suspended Solids is the total amount of particulate held in suspension within an aqueous sample. The symbol SS mg/L is used here to denote high concentrations and may be performed in-line using a light scatter measurement indicating the total amount of suspended solids in a sample. Typical applications include monitoring activated sludge concentrations.
The Visolid 700 IQ provides the most robust stainless steel housing suitable for waste water applications. The digital sensor has a dynamic measuring range of % dry solids without pratcial limitation allowing the user to configure the sensor for the intended application.
Up to 7 (user selectable) points of calibration may be enetered ensuring accurate and reliable measurement.
The sensor is maintained by continuous ultrasonic cleaning.
Multiple sensors covering a range of parameters may be connected to a single IQ Sensor Net controller.
