Surface Water Measurements

Surface water encompasses storm water derived from hard standing areas. river water and reservoirs. All types of surface water are at risk from ingress of pollution and therefore need to be monitored. On-line continuous monitoring can identify and alarm pollution so corrective action can be taken. Oil measurment and detection is often a critical concern. Asmall anount of oil can visually impact and have severe environmental consequence. The ingress of oil into drinking water processes may also adversely affect water quality and blind filtration processes. A non-contact laser method is availble for the detcion of floating films on surface water such as rivers and lakes.
