Suspended Solids or Turbidity is the physical characterisation of water quality. The parameter is used in-line as a continuous measurement indicating the amount of suspended solids in a sample.
Suspended solids concentrations may also be monitored within activated sludge treatment processes.
The Visolid 700 IQ provides the most robust stainless steel housing suitable for waste water applications. The digital sensor has a dynamic measuring range of % dry solids without pratcial limitation allowing the user to configure the sensor for the intended application.
Up to 7 (user selectable) points of calibration may be enetered ensuring accurate and reliable measurement.
The sensor is maintained by continuous ultrasonic cleaning.
Multiple sensors covering a range of parameters may be connected to a single IQ Sensor Net controller.
