About Us
Production Pattern began life in the early 60s as a traditional Pattern Making company serving almost exclusively the MOD and the aircraft industry. The business then evolved into other areas during the 70s and 80s, the predominant being the automotive and allied industries.
During that time, engineering was undergoing radical changes and new management was employed to develop the companys full potential, moving away from its more traditional roots and into Tool Making and Jigs and Fixtures manufacture.
This coincided with the company opening a factory in Bristol and ultimately moving its whole operation to that area.
In 1993, two senior management employees, Tim Hockey and David Megilley, led a successful management buy out with the sole aim of progressing the company to the next level, securing the necessary investment required to become one of the regions most respected tool making companies.
Today, employing over 20 skilled personnel and with the enviable reputation in being able to achieve customers requirements in a variety of materials, PPB is proud to continue as one of the finest engineering companies in its field.
