Top-loading vertical autoclaves remain one of the most popular designs for life-science research, not only because they can accommodate the tallest of flasks, fermenters, and bioreactors, but because they’re excellent for processing mixed waste, biological waste, pathogen-heavy materials, cloth and textile sterilization, soil and substrate preparation, wrapped instruments, as well as porous loads.
