New 12-acre city village site has 4,000m² of internal glass protected

Our customer Stanmore has used Protectapeel to protect approximately 4,000m² of internal glass from damage during the build of a new 12-acre city village in London. Part of the Haringey Heartlands Regeneration, Clarendon is set to become an exciting new destination. Clarendon will have over 1700 new homes along with fantastic facilities, landscaped gardens, business, retail and community spaces. The cultural quarter will include a central boulevard to help improve connectivity between the surrounding neighbourhoods of Hornsey, Wood Green and Alexandra Park. The £15.9m project commenced construction in late 2020 and is estimated for completion early 2023. Before completion, the Protectapeel® glass protection will be easily peeled away, revealing undamaged surfaces that are ready for handover. Thanks to Protectapeel® the wastage on-site will be reduced and deadlines won’t be disrupted due to long lead times on replacement glass.
