Extruded Plastics

Here at Rayda Plastics we are able to produce custom plastic extrusions. This involves the process whereby plastic and other materials are forced through a die to create a range of profiles, tubes and pipes depending on the customer’s requirements. Our customers are able to choose from a variety of colours allowing them to tailor their plastic extrusions to their requirements. In addition to this the flexibility in the extrusion process also means that a variety of shapes and lengths of plastic can be produced. This becomes a very efficient process particularly in the instance when a continuous shape needs to be produced in a variety of lengths. Co- extrusion is also commonly used in the plastic extrusion process often to make a product more cost effective. The bulk of the extrusion would therefore be produced from a cheaper material with the outer layer / top layer of the plastic extrusion being used to create the finished product.
