HIGH-SPEED AUTOMATED BAGGING LINE

N&C Enterprises is a wholly owned Irish family run business based in Co Kildare created in the 1940’s who focus on volumes to locally based merchants and Builders. N&C have a 24 hour nationwide delivery service provided by their own modern fleet of trucks. Minerals are sourced worldwide for washing, processing and bagging at their brand new state of the art facility in Kilmeague, Naas, Co Kildare. This production facility boasts the most modern aggregate bagging line in Europe that produces the bagged aggregates that builders want. RMGroup attended the famous Hillhead Show in Buxton in June 2016. The brand new Mobile Packaging Line was being showcased. The mobile packing system made a fantastic impression with visitors of the aggregate industry. RMGroups contact details were taken and passed to N&C Enterprises who were keen for more information. The following week RMGroup Technical Sales Team were contacted by N&C and the ball started rolling. Their requirements were to package a variety of aggregates from 20kg-40kg bags, from decorative aggregates to various sand based materials for builders merchants. The brief was to decommission the existing system which was a manual bagging line and fully commission a high-speed automatic aggregate bagging system with a stretch hooder, within a 10 day time frame to illuminate downtime. The project went to plan and the time targets were hit due to the dedicated engineers on site. This resulted in a successful installation and satisfied customer. The fully automated high-speed bagging line consisted of a hopper, conveying lines, Manual Bagging machine MB400, Form Fill Seal FPK46, a Palletising Robot ABB460 and Stretch Hooder. With N&C being based in Ireland the benefits from also having the eWON & CCTV system installed on the bagging line was the ultimate solution. This enables RMGroup Service engineers to log on remotely from anywhere in the world to fault find, make changes to settings as required by the customer. This allows rapid response to the customers needs resulting in less downtime and no call out costs.
