Yama – restraints 2. Niyama – positive duties or observances 3. Asana – physical posture 4. Pranayama – control of breathing 5. Pratyahara – withdrawal of the senses 6. Dharana – concentration of the mind 7. Dhyana – contemplation and meditation 8. Samadhi – bliss or enlightenment So, what are the benefits of practicing Yoga?
