S JONES CONTAINERS SUPPORTS ALDERLEY IN RUMALIA OIL PROJECT

In Iraq, the Rumalia Oil Field provides 2% of the world’s total oil consumption. Alderley are a leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke metering packages for the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry. Alderley have previously worked with S Jones Containers on a number of projects – they required different metering packages that had a control system. S Jones Containers Conversions Team were employed to deliver engineering expertise and support by providing containerised solutions that were air conditioned to suit an ambient temperature of 53°C. The containers were required to hold control panels, UPS, distribution boards and other specialised expensive equipment. Mark Askwith, Rumalia Oil Project Manager for Alderley said “S Jones rose to this challenge and provides tailored units with dual air-conditioning, fully wired and fitted out. The containers were subject to rigorous inspection by the Customer’s organisation prior to being released for shipment to Iraq”
