Next week Sarsen is taking part in the Nu-Tech x Granta Park supplier showcase event in Cambridge, where innovators, and professionals from the science, technology, and biopharmaceutical sectors can check out the very latest capabilities in these areas, and enjoy a day of networking, collaboration, and discovery.
The Bioscience sector in particular is changing every day, but the focus on high performance technology and long term support is as prevalent as it has always been. Their requirements are usually for powerful data acquisition, digital signal processing and data recording solutions, and long term availability, high reliability and reduced time-to-market are critical factors when deciding on a technology supplier.
We’ve been working with Reflex CES' to highlight their FPGA boards, which are becoming even more popular to our medical and biopharmaceutical customers because of their ability to process huge amounts of data quickly and efficiently. In areas like genomics and medical imaging, these boards help speed up complex tasks, such as analysing DNA sequences or processing medical scans, by handling multiple operations at once.
One of our recent customers has been working on genome sequencing. Reflex FPGA modules provide scientists with the power to sift through DNA data much faster than with traditional methods, which is especially useful for things like personalised medicine where fast and accurate results are critical.
These FPGA boards are also making a difference in medical imaging, helping to improve the speed and accuracy of scans like MRIs, CTs, and ultrasounds. Reflex has carefully selected the FPGA used on the boards, meaning they can process the massive data from these machines in real-time, leading to quicker image reconstruction and better diagnoses, which if like me you’ve had to have any scans like functional MRI you’ll appreciate that capturing fast biological processes is really important.
This is the first-ever Science & Technology Solutions Exhibition to be held on Granta Park, and we’re really excited to be exhibiting. If you’re going to be at the event please stop by and have a chat with Stuart, we’ll have lots of kit ready for you to take a look at.
