Paramotor Taster Course
The Taster course is a great gift to give anyone interested in Paramotoring. The Paramotor Taster Course takes place over weekends in the UK only and costs £330. The course lasts 2 days and training consists of learning how to control the Paraglider and Paramotor on the ground, as well as some basic theory. If the weather is suitable students have the opportunity to get airborne with just the wing by being towed up to 5m above the ground. After the course they will be able to decide whether they wish to sit a longer course in order to fly solo.
Paramotor Beginner Course
The Beginner course lasts 6 days and is designed to get you flying solo at least once. The Beginner course in the UK costs £995. The Beginner Courses in Portugal and Spain cost £1,395 and includes 7 nights in a single room. Training consists of ground handling, motor usage training, basic theory and usually culminates in at least one solo flight. At the end students can progress on to the Intermediate Course, which is designed to qualify them as an APPI PPG Pilot.
Paramotor Intermediate Course
The Intermediate course lasts 6 days and is designed to qualify students who have already flown solo as an APPI PPG Pilot. The Intermediate course in the UK costs £995 and is run on an Ad Hoc basis and students are booked in via Spond when the weather is good. The Intermediate Course in Portugal and Spain costs £1,395 and includes 7 nights in a single room. Training consists of low level flying, precision landings, cross country tasks and more advanced theory, culminating in an Exam which covers meteorology, air law, navigation and more. Students need to complete a minimum of 15 solo flights and log at least 3 hours in order to attain the APPI PPG Pilot License. Qualified pilots can fly without an instructor, take out insurance with AXA and buy equipment at discounted rates.
Paramotor Pilot Course
The Pilot Course lasts 12 days and is a combination of the Beginner and Intermediate courses, as described above. It is designed to allow complete beginners and inexperienced Paraglider pilots to attain the APPI PPG Pilot License. The Paramotor Pilot Course costs £1,595 in the UK. In Portugal and Spain it costs £2,295 and includes 14 nights in a single room. In the UK the 2nd half of the Pilot course is run on an Ad Hoc basis and students are booked in via Spond when the weather is good. It is possible to split the 12 day Paramotor Pilot Course in half, starting in the UK and finishing in Spain or Portugal. This costs £1,995 and includes 7 nights in a single room. Qualified pilots can fly without an instructor, take out insurance with AXA and purchase equipment at discounted rates.
ParaTrike Courses
We run Beginner and Intermediate ParaTrike courses in the UK and Spain. The ParaTrike Beginner Course lasts 6 days and costs £1,195 in the UK. In Spain the ParaTrike Beginner Course costs £1,595 and includes 7 nights in a single room. The ParaTrike Pilot course lasts 12 days and we only run it in Spain where the weather is more consistent. This costs £2,495 and includes 14 nights in a single room. It is possible to split the 12 day ParaTrike Pilot course in half, starting in the UK and finishing in Spain. This costs £2,195 and includes 7 nights in a single room. The Beginner course is designed to allow students to have their first solo flight and the Intermediate course is designed to qualify students as APPI ParaTrike Pilots. These courses follow the APPI ParaTrike Syllabus. Qualified pilots can fly without an instructor, take out insurance with AXA and purchase equipment at discounted rates.
