Press Brake Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION – PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION  Operate a Amada press brake  Required to set press up to suit material and bend required  Ensure selection of correct material or laser profiles.  Count parts. Bag or stack for packing or subsequent operations.  Follow procedures and processes.  Record job time accurately.  Keep work area tidy and machine clean.  Stay on top of tooling storage and management.  Assist internal sales in giving accurate quotations.  Assist others with in SSC Laser with their processes if required.  You will be expected to use a F.L.T training provided. Person Requirements  Must be enthusiastic with a hands-on approach and strong organisational skills.  Must have an understanding of quality control and methods for continuous improvement.  Able to demonstrate attention to detail and perseverance.  Able to handle information in a logical and structured way. Able to thrive in a fast moving, sometimes hectic commercial environment Previous commercial experience and a manufacturing background would be a distinct advantage. SKILLS REQUIRED: to be able to read basic engineering drawings. Sound knowledge and experience of press brake operating training will be available by Amada for successful candidate.
