From Strength to Strength: September Success

Well, it’s been a celebratory month for us this September, following our most successful month yet which invoiced over £1 million. We are elated! This success wouldn’t have been achieved without our lovely customers, so we wanted to say a huge thank you for keeping SSC Laser as your first choice when it comes to your laser cutting requirements, whether this be tube or flatbed profiling. With our recent recruitment of Sales Manager Louis Jarrett, and Production Manager Tim Green, we saw over an 80% increase in sales at our Derby division, although this was spread out across all sites from Stafford to Motherwell, Beaconsfield, Canterbury and Bristol! Receiving this news was made twice as sweet, especially with the UK steel industry crisis at the forefront of our mind. Derby’s recent improvements in performance have contributed hugely, however it isn’t just one division that has formed this amazing success. All of our divisions have performed fantastically and it’s so great to see the company morale increasing as we do better and better each month! The staff have been working incredibly long hours due to the holiday season (we’re always grateful for such a keen team), but it’s not just the sales staff that have contributed. Every single team member has contributed massively. Our Sales guys make the calls and ensure that we quote our enquiries quickly and competitively, talk the talk and establish relationships with our lovely clients who give us such amazing projects to sink our teeth into. Our Purchasing Team ensure that we get the correct material, of the highest quality and at the right price so that we’re providing the best calibre project to our clients. Once we have everything we need, our Production Teams and CAD Engineers get to work, ensuring that the parts are made perfectly, on time and great quality. The Transport Team then ensure the parts are packaged, all relevant paperwork is raised and dispatched on time and in full, ensuring our customers are delighted.
