Starting 2017 Off With A Bang

What’s New For SSC In 2017? The whole team at SSC are incredibly keen to get the ball rolling for 2017. We’ve really put heavy focus on propelling our company forwards this year, and for the years to come. After a lengthy 12-month investigation into the technology available, we decided to prepare for 2017 early, investing a whopping £1.8million into two brand new laser profiling machines towards the end of 2016. We took our time so that we were absolutely sure that the new laser cutting machines that we eventually decided on would provide the best benefits to our customers. This now means we can take on even more complex projects that we may previously have struggled to accommodate – we’re already saying ‘yes!’ to heavier and more intricate, challenging and elaborate sections that our competitors may have to turn away, and with March 2017 seeing the commission of our first fibre laser cutting machine, there’ll be no stopping us! We came to the conclusion that the two machines we were going to go ahead with were going to be the Adige LT8.10 Tube Laser and the Bystronic 10kW Fiber Flat Bed Laser. This will enable us to help British metal manufacturers to compete, by supplying quick, sub-contract precision laser profiling and more.
