The Staple Driver story began during the lockdown of 2020, on a cold winters day, fumbling to grip staples and rushing to fix some downed fencing, before the cows escaped. As a farmer and engineer I set about designing a solution, the idea for which had been on my mind for quite a while, and that, as they say, is history. ​ As the design developed, we soon realised the 'Staple Driver' would need to be made as a series of products, to cope with the sizes of staples, used by farmers, fencers, woodsman and hobbyists alike. ​ The Staple Driver brand is very much a British product. Our Drivers are machined, finished and packaged on my farm in the heart of the Somerset countryside.
