As Summit Systems marks its 35th anniversary, we reflect on three and a half decades of pioneering achievements, unwavering dedication, and continued growth within the plastics industry. Since our founding in 1989, we have remained at the forefront of innovation, consistently delivering cutting-edge solutions and exceptional service to our customers.

A Journey of Milestones and Growth

• Chris Bailey: The first employee on the payroll and still a valued team member 35 years later.

• 1990: Summit exhibited at Interplas for the first time.

• 1990: Installed the first central material handling system.

• 1993: Relocated to a new premises, refurbishing an oil-contaminated factory with the help of local rugby club mates.

• 1999: Continued growth necessitated a third move to a 2,700 sq. ft. factory in Tame Park, Tamworth, opened by the Chairman of the UK’s largest packaging company. Combined with Maguire Europe, this location provided ample room for further growth and remains our headquarters today.

• 2002: Summit won its first major accolade, being named 'Supplier of the Year' in the Plastics Awards’ inaugural Ancillary category.

• 2018: Expanded our temperature control division with the acquisition of Total Process Cooling (TPC) Ltd.
