James Panton, Business Development Manager

Earlier this year, Summit Systems welcomed three new Business Development Managers to support our expanding business. Among them is James Panton, whose 18-year career in materials handling makes him a valuable addition to our team, particularly as we launch our new Material Handling division, Summit Dynamic Solutions.

A Strong Background in Materials Handling

James’s career has been dedicated to the plastics industry, with a strong focus on managing both virgin and reprocessed materials. In his previous role with an equipment manufacturer—one that occasionally supplied Summit Systems—he was consistently impressed by Summit’s professionalism, expertise, and customer-first approach. When the opportunity arose to join the team, it was an easy decision:

With experience across multiple sectors, including food processing, James brings a diverse industry perspective to Summit Systems. As we expand our offerings through Summit Dynamic Solutions, his strategic approach promises to drive growth in new and existing markets.

Life Beyond Work

Outside of his professional life, James enjoys spending time near the beach, making the most of family time and offshore fishing. Recently, he has also taken up golf with one of his sons, turning trips to the driving range into a family tradition.
