As part of our continued growth, Summit Systems has welcomed three new Business Development Managers to strengthen our team. Among them is Wayne Kirby, whose 20-year career in Sales and Business Development across multiple industries will be instrumental in driving the success of our new Material Handling division, Summit Dynamic Solutions, while also supporting customers within the plastics industry.
A Strong Background in Manufacturing
Wayne’s career began in manufacturing, later transitioning into automation technical sales and business development. Over the years, he has provided tailored technical solutions across a broad range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, aggregates, chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and general manufacturing. His diverse experience enables him to tackle complex challenges and deliver bespoke solutions, making him a valuable addition to Summit Systems.
Key Strengths and Strategic Vision
Wayne thrives on building lasting relationships with customers and forging partnerships that drive mutual growth. His deep understanding of business requirements allows him to tailor solutions that align with specific customer needs, ensuring long-term satisfaction.
He also has extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, guiding them from initial concept through to completion, with a track record of successfully delivering projects worth over £2 million. At Summit Systems, Wayne will use these skills to enhance customer engagement and support the expansion of Summit Dynamic Solutions.

Wayne was drawn to Summit Systems due to the exciting opportunities presented by Summit Dynamic Solutions, which focuses on Material Handling. With Summit’s strong reputation in the plastics industry, he sees huge potential for expansion into new sectors. His technical sales expertise and business development acumen align perfectly with our company objectives, and he is eager to contribute to our continued growth and success.
Beyond the Business
Outside of work, Wayne enjoys spending time with his German Pointer, Milo, and coaching his son’s grassroots football team. He is also passionate about angling, swimming, and taking short coastal breaks. When time allows, he loves socialising with friends and family, helping him unwind and recharge.
