I had Surface Scan 3d scan and then reverse engineer a small plastic piece for a vehicle. The part was rather small and the 3d scan on something at this scale wasn't accurate enough, however rather than just saying "well, that's what you ordered", Angela offered to reverse engineer the piece and designed as close as a 1:1 match of the OEM piece as i could have ever expected. Their responses via email are prompt and informative & unlike many placed i enquired with, they are upfront with their pricing. Im sorry but if your prices are POA, then i'm going somewhere else! Also great for me being that they are in the UK. Ultimately, Surface Scan also printed 4 of the pieces for me in a tough resin which allowed me to test their designs before printing them out for myself. All in all a great company to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for 3d scanning and indeed printing services!
