Exploring High Voltage Testing

On 28th November 2024, T&R Test Equipment Ltd. partnered with PASS Ltd. to host a FREE High Voltage Testing Workshop at the PASS Electrical Training Centre in Hamilton, near Glasgow. The event welcomed professionals from across the electrical and power industries, providing a valuable opportunity to expand their understanding of high voltage testing and commissioning.

An Engaging Day of Learning

The day began with a warm welcome and registration, followed by a series of interactive and insightful sessions, covering key aspects of high voltage testing:

🔌 The Role of Relays in Electrical System Protection – Attendees explored the critical role of relays in electrical safety, with live demonstrations of the 50ADM-P Secondary Injection Test Set and TPT9000 Transformer Polarity Tester.

⚡ Understanding Primary Injection Testing – A detailed session on primary injection testing was supported by a live demonstration of the 750ADM unit, showcasing its functionality and importance in testing high-current protection devices.

🛠️ High Voltage Testing for Dead Systems – The complexities of high voltage testing were examined, with a focus on the HVI product range and its capabilities for ensuring electrical safety.

These sessions provided attendees with hands-on experience, allowing them to interact with cutting-edge high voltage testing equipment, reinforcing their theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
