Operating During the COVID 19 Pandemic

TAAB has introduced a series of measures to keep our staff safe and maintain prompt and reliable deliveries to our customers. We supply many hospitals with reagents and equipment for diagnostic purposes plus research laboratories involved now in COVID-19 research. We have also supplied viral disinfectants to many other institutions. To ensure continuity of supply and protect our staff we have implemented several precautionary and safety procedures to comply with government recommendations and keep our offices free of infection. We have established as far as we can that deliveries from our suppliers are likely to be uninterrupted and ensure now that goods are left outside our premises and brought into the building by ourselves. To enable safe working within our offices, we have instigated a shift system for our staff so that "Social Distancing" is more easily accomplished. Surfaces are regularly disinfected, including keyboards, weighing machines etc. and hand sanitisers are used regularly. Staff have their temperature checked at the beginning and end of each shift. This will not only keep ourselves safe but ensure we do not inadvertently expose others to unnecessary risk. We would also like to express our own admiration for NHS staff and all others in the front-line during this crisis for the magnificent and unselfish way that they are conducting themselves.
