Heineken Brewery

Project Information Heineken is the world’s most international brewer and celebrated its 150th Birthday in February this year. The organisation has five production locations in Britain with its Manchester Brewery being one of its key facilities. We were asked by Heineken to design, manufacture and install an economiser for the Royal Brewery in Manchester as part of an overall project to reduce energy consumption and cost. The unit cools gases from 220°C to 136°C and thereby heats DFW from 80°C to 108°C. Increase in boiler efficiency is 5.1% giving a reduction in gas cost of over £100,000 per annum
