Our first Man of the Match Award

We have introduced a Man of the Match award to recognise excellence in our team. The first winner was Trevor Stringer who was called late one Thursday evening from a customer as they discovered they had a problem at one of their sites in Belgium that our gas coolers had been installed at. The site in Belgium was only accessible on Sunday with the plant needing to be back operational on Monday. Trevor rang the customer and arranged that a suitable TIG welding set would be available onsite. Off his own bat he then booked a flight to Brussels for the Saturday, hired a car, booked accommodation for Saturday night, got onsite at 08.00 on Sunday, inspected the weld, repaired it, put a full pressure test on it and flew home on the Sunday night. Our customer got the gas cooler back into service for the Monday. Feedback from the customer Representatives from our customer expressed their thanks and relief that the situation was not a calamity. They were impressed by the way in which we had handled the problem and the way it was resolved by ThermTech. A great example of how we go the extra mile to satisfy our customers. Well done Trevor and apologies to Mrs Stringer for upsetting her Mother’s Day.
