Supporting Community Projects in the Ashton under Lyne Area

ThermTech is part of The Workspace Group which is the current Northern Ireland Social Enterprise of the Year. The Workspace Group’s social enterprise model sees it run a range of commercial businesses alongside ThermTech including installing home insulation products, providing business start-up units and support, employability initiatives and recruitment, the surpluses from which are used for community benefit. As part of this approach The Workspace Group distributes small grants to community and voluntary groups through its Workspace Community Fund. We were delighted to be able to award Workspace Community Fund grants to six community projects we selected from the Ashton under Lyne area. The six projects we supported were: Reform Radio Europia St Peter’s Partnerships TARA Our Kids Eyes The River Manchester
