The company was started in June 1983 by partners Terry Sales and Jean Sergeant who established Thermoshields reputation as a customer focused business who do not compromise on quality. From the start, the company made it’s own range of products using only the best quality profile from the United Kingdom’s leading providers. This meant that customers needing something out of the ordinary could be easily catered for, further cementing the company reputation as a company who could be relied upon to meet any request.. The expanding business soon outgrew it’s first location on Laurence Industrial Estate, Eastwood and moved to larger premises on Purdeys Way Industrial Estate. With the winning of large commercial contracts, new machinery was bought to allow higher production and the unit next door was acquired. Extra staff were employed and the company began a steady expansion to become one of the areas best known double glazing firms.
