Vine trimmer

AWS Stockmayer is a family run German viticultural machinery company specialising in trimmers and deleafers. Now in their fourth generation, Stockmayer have a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing vine trimmers after developing their own knife bar cutting machines and free-cutting rotating knives over 35 years ago. Vitifruit are proud to be the UK distributors for AWS Stockmayer products and have a close working relationship with the team back in Germany. Trimmers Stockmayer vine trimmers have been manufactured for 30 years and are produced as single-sided, double-sided, and twin over-row machines; all having a solid metal frame reinforced with polished stainless steel plates to ensure stability. The trimmers have air-sucking rotary blades that act by drawing longer vine shoots into the cutting area away from the wires and fruiting zone. Due to a special twisting of these blades, no extremely high speed is required for a strong suction effect; and as such protects bearings, V-belts and motors from excessive wear. Optional extras include wheeled stand and mounting brackets.
