Stockmayer vine trimmers have been manufactured for 30 years and are produced as single-sided, double-sided, and twin over-row machines; all having a solid metal frame reinforced with polished stainless steel plates to ensure stability. The trimmers have air-sucking rotary blades that act by drawing longer vine shoots into the cutting area away from the wires and fruiting zone. Due to a special twisting of these blades, no extremely high speed is required for a strong suction effect; and as such protects bearings, V-belts and motors from excessive wear.
