The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ron Jeavons Steels Ltd.– steel stockholders and metal
processors since 1971.
Ron Jeavons Steels Ltd bought Welded Presswork from the Moss Engineering Group as a going concern in
1982 a company incorporated in 1948.
The Group of Companies was relocated from Brierley Hill and Birmingham to Darlaston two years later.
The Business occupies 36,000 square feet of freehold property on a 2.5 acre site to include a new storage warehouse facility.
A further 8,000 square feet has also been recently leased.
The Company has 70 full time employees who work a single shift.
The family business has a turnover of £4.25 Million.
Manufacturing capacity is in excess of £2 Million due to improvements in plant and machinery and extra manufacturing area.
Over £1.5 million has been invested in plant of the past four years and continued in June 2008 with the
purchase of a New Amada X1 Laser cutting machine which will operate on a 24 Lights Out Basis.
The company has 3 operational divisions which focus on specific areas of activity :
Product Development Division
Pressings and Assembly Division
Fabrication Division
It is intended that the company will grow by working and developing solid relationships with customers and
suppliers and developing the individual skills of each employee in an environment which provides the
facilities and the finance to promote growth
