Fully automatic AWS 400 computer controlled welding systems installation

Our customer, a leading international manufacturer of high precision alloy components purchased two custom fully automatic AWS 400 computer controlled welding systems. The first system to be installed was a fully automatic AWS 400 amp PLS 36 seamer system, comprising, arc distance control and custom wire feed. Once welded the parts were subjected to a rigorous final acceptance criteria; improved weld quality at reduced cost has been reported by the customer. As part of the same assembly a rotational weld was needed to complete the assembly, a second fully automatic AWS 400, large turntable and column and boom system was purchased comprising, arc distance control and custom wire feed. The same rigorous final acceptance criteria was used to qualify the weld before clearance could be given to be fitted to the aircraft. Throughout this project Weldlogic Europe worked very closely with the customer offering engineering support and sample development prior to installation.
