Leading hot water cylinder manufacture purchases its first fully automatic Plasma Seam Welder

A leading hot water cylinder manufacture has just purchased its first fully automatic Plasma Seam Welder.

Weldlogic were approached by the customer and tasked with making improvements to weld quality and to increase production.

On site evaluations were made of the customers TIG seam welding capability and samples were brought back to Weldlogic Europe for further evaluation.

Two processes were evaluated at Weldlogic , Tig and Plasma, both processes using a Weldlogic Plasma Tig power supply and PLS24  automatic Seam Welder.

Plasma samples yielded significant improvements in weld quality and vast improvements in production rates.

With the development information provided by Weldlogic the customer purchased a fully automatic, twin head plasma seam welding package.
